Ida Lykken Ghosh

Festival manager Helene Hokland has invited last year's main curator for AMIFF 2022, Ida Lykken Ghosh from Atelier Nord, to curate a 75-minute film programme for this year's festival, AMIFF 2023.

Ida Lykken Ghosh is director at Atelier Nord, Oslo. Ida has a Norwegian/Indian background and grew up partly in England and Norway. She is a trained photographer and has worked as a producer, curator and art consultant in the field of contemporary art, with a focus on photo, sound and video art.

Among other things, Ghosh has worked at Fotogalleriet, Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) and Lofoten International Art Festival (LIAF). In recent years, she has worked in the field of media art, including as coordinator for the Production Network for Electronic Arts (PNEK), where she had a central role in the development of the Video Art Archive. Since 2018, she has been director at Atelier Nord in Oslo, where she has worked on the development of Atelier Nord as a platform and exhibition venue for media art and sound art. Ghosh is also a board member of Oslo Open, nyMusikk and Bastardklubben.

Ghosh contributed the video art program; "What I Miss About People and what Don't Miss About People" for AMIFF in 2021.
