Anna Ulrikke Andersen
Anna Ulrikke Andersen kommer til AMIFF på vegne av ArchFilmFest London for å presentere et program med arkitekturfilmer av to britiske filmskapere. Filmen hennes "Journey to Italy" vises også under AMIFF i årets Open Call program.
Anna Ulrikke Andersen er filmskaper, kurator og arkitekturhistoriker, bosatt i London. Hun arbeider med en PhD avhandling i arkitektur ved The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, hvor hun grunnla The Bartlett Film+Place+Architecture Docotoral Network i 2014. Hun har blant annet presentert arbeidet sitt på 2014 Venice Biennale of Architecture, University of Oxford, Arkitektur- og Designhøgskolen i Oslo og Royal Academy of Arts. Som tidligere Competition Director ved Architecture Film Festival London 2017 drev hun festivalens internasjonale konkurranse, som mottok 154 bidrag fra 33 forskjellige nasjoner. Hun var kurator av ”From Above”: et utvalg kortfilmer som ble vist ved ICA under festivalen. Andersen vil kuratere en visning på AMIFF med de to britiske kunstnerne Emma Charles og Ollie Palmer som begge var del av festivalens konkurranse.
ArchFilmFest London er en seks dager lang festival dedikert til arkitektur og film, grunnlagt av Charlotte Skene Catling og Manuel Toledo-Otagui. Festivalen finner sted annethvert år og består av visninger, utstillinger, symposium, workshop og en en internasjonal film konkurranse. Den første utgaven av festivalen, som tok for seg tematikken "Scale", fant sted på de to arenaene ICA og Bargehoues, Oxo Tower Wharf mellom 6. - 11. juni 2017.
Anna Ulrikke Andersen is a London based filmmaker, curator and architectural historian. She is currently a PhD candidate of architectural design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where she founded The Bartlett Film+Place+Architecture Doctoral Network in 2014. Her work has been presented at the 2014 Venice Biennale of Architecture, University of Oxford, Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and Royal Academy of Arts, amongst others. As former Competition Director, her work with Architecture Film Festival London 2017 involved running the festival’s international competition, which received 154 submissions from over 33 countries. She was also the curator of “From Above”: a selection of short films screened at the ICA during the festival. Andersen will curate a selection for AMIFF based on this screening, involving the two British filmmakers Emma Charles and Ollie Palmer.
About ArchFIlmFest London: Co-founded by Charlotte Skene-Catling and Manuel Toledo-Otaegui, ArchFilmFest London is a 6-day, biennial festival that celebrates architectural film through screenings, installations, symposia, workshops and an international film competition. The inaugural ArchFilmFest focused around the theme "Scale", ran from the 6th to 11th of June 2017 and took place between two London venues, the ICA and the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf.
