A short film program with exciting films by young filmmakers, curated by Erik Alstad, student at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO).
The program presents films from activist filmmakers that address various struggles being fought in Norway today: the fight against complicity in genocide in Palestine, against the violation of indigenous rights in Repparfjord, against the destruction of vulnerable nature throughout the country. The program puts together a mix of finished works, work in progress and raw material from actions. It raises the question of what strategies art can use in political agitation and mobilization today.
