Viktor Bomstad will be at AMIFF and will perform an audiovisual performance together with Magnus Holmen with their film Sáhtána Álbmot / Djevelens Folk / The Devils Kin (2024).

Bio:

Viktor Bomstad is a traditional joiker and experimental musician from Sápmi/Norway. He is passionate about connecting traditional sami music with different musical expressions and soundscapes. His music is often dirty, slowly developing and trance-like with a strong emphasis on improvisation. He has made a name for himself on the Norwegian experimental music scene, performing both solo and in various constellations. In 2022 he released his first solo album, Sámi Noise, on Nice Things Records. With Sex Magick Wizards he has earned a cult status within psychedelic rock in Norway and Germany. Their third album, Death Grip, was released in August 2024.
