Anna Ulrikke Andersen

Anna Ulrikke Andersen is an Norwegian filmmaker, curator and architectural historian employed at the University of Oxford.

She will present a film program and lecture during this year's festival where she explores the window as an architectural element and metaphor: How the window creates relationships and distinctions between people, spaces and places, with a special focus on the contrast between north and south. In a window in Harstad's urban space, the festival will show one of Andersen's films that deal with this theme.

Anna Ulrikke Andersen has a PhD in architecture from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where she founded The Bartlett Film + Place + Architecture Docotoral Network in 2014. Among other things, she presented her work at the 2014 Venice Biennale of Architecture, University of Oxford, Oslo School of Architecture and Design and the Royal Academy of Arts.
