Filmen var i Hovedkonkurransen på Filmfestivalen i Cannes i år, der Paweł Pawlikowski vant prisen for Beste regissør. Pawlikowskis forrige film Ida vant Oscar for Beste Utenlandske film i 2015. Den ble vist på Kinomatisk i Harstad.
