Transport

How to Get to Harstad

Harstad is located in Sør-Troms county, and there are various ways to travel to Harstad.

By Plane:
The closest airport is Harstad/Narvik Evenes (EVE), and is a 50 minute drive from the town centre. There are frequent airport busses that corresponds with arrivals and departures of the flights. There are hardly any direct flights from abroad to this airport, so you will need to change in Oslo (Gardemoen). The airlines Norwegian and Scandinavian Airlines fly between Oslo and Harstad. By Bus:
There are good bus connections between Harstad and other locations in the region, such as Narvik and Sortland. If you wish to take a bus from Narvik, you can take the flybus to Evenes and transfer there to reach Harstad. There is a direct bus service between Sortland and Harstad.
